Crunchy Chicken Bake
1 1/2 cups chopped cooked chicken
1/2 milk
2 package frozen broccoli cuts (10oz each)
cooked and drained
1 can french fried onions
Cheddar sauce
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
1 cup milk
1 cup sharp cheddar
*melt butter in saucepan, on low. gradually add flour, whisking constantly till mixture is smooth. Remove from heat. Slowly add milk, whisking to maintain smooth sauce. Turn heat on to low, till thick.(5 minutes or so)
whisking as you cook, and cheese and stir till smooth and well blended
salt n pepper all to taste
Sitr the cooked chicken, cheese sauce, broccoli and 2/3 of the fried onions in a casserole dish. Cover. Bake at 350 20-25 minutes. Sprinkle remaining onions on top, uncover and cook another 5 minutes till onions are golden color.
